2. Locate your CD-ROM drive using the left hand side of "Windows Explorer"
3. On the right hand side of "Windows Explorer" you should see the file "WINMM.DLL". If you see this file then go to step 5
4. If you did not see this file, then click on the "View" menu item and select "Options". Make sure the "Show all files" option is enabled or dotted, if not then left click on to the "Show all files"
5. With your right mouse button, right click on to the file "WINMM.DLL" and then left click on to "Copy"
6. Now locate your "Windows" folder on your hard drive using the left hand side of "Windows Explorer". Look for and double click on to the "System" folder
7. Go to the right hand side of "Windows Explorer" and right click on to an empty or white space area. Left click on to the "Paste" option
8. That should now copy the DLL file from the CD-ROM to "Windows\System" folder on your hard drive.
10. Finally restart the 10 Red Hot Games program.

A4: If your video card does not support image stretching, you will be notified, and the game will not be playable. We apologize, but there are too many video card manufacturers who claim their cards are Windows compatible, but aren't.
A Small Font video driver must be used in order for the game to start. Consult your video card documentation for information on Small Font drivers. A 256 color or higher video driver is also a requirement (if everything looks grey, then a 16 color driver is probably loaded). The game will perform best with a 256 color driver installed.
Changing to small font:
1. Click on to the "Start" button, select "Settings" and then "Control Panel".
2. Double click on to the "Display" icon to load the display properties.
3. Click on to the "Settings" tab, under the "Font Size" section select "Small Font" and under "Color Palette" make sure 256 colours is selected.
4. Click on to the "OK" button and restart the game
Q5: ERROR: Can't Create Auto-Redraw Image
A5: This is caused by expanded memory settings. Windows likes Extended Memory.
Solution:
If your config.sys file has a line similar to this:

You'll need to change the RAM setting to NOEMS
DEVICE=C:\DOS\EMM386.EXE NOEMS
Make sure you are running Windows in 386 Enhanced Mode.
Q6: Problem: Zoom Scope doesn't work
A6: Many video cards claim to be 100% Windows compatible, but aren't. If the Zoom Scope does not work, then your video card doesn't support all of the functions Windows has, namely, stretching of Bitmaps.
Contact the vendor of your system, or manufacturer of your video card, and tell them the problem, and request newer, or updated video drivers. You can also get the lastest updated video driver via the internet http://www.windows95.com

Q7: When I start Rally Racer I get an error message: "MSVBVM50.DLL is linked to a missing OLEAUT32.DLL file"
A7: The file OLEAUT32.DLL is part of MS Office software. When you installed MS Office, this file is copied across to your system folder. If somehow that file is missing from your system folder then just copy that file from the "SYSTEM" folder on the CD-ROM to the "WINDOWS\SYSTEM" folder on your hard drive.

A8: It has been noted on some systems that the game freezes after you added your hi-score. To unfreeze the game press the "CTRL" "ALT" and "DEL" keys then select "Rally Racer" from the list and click on to the "End Task" button to release the game. Your hi-score will still appear in the hi-score window.
